UNEARTH THE MYSTERY OF SPIRIT BOARDS, LEARN TO USE THEM, AND HEAR GHOSTLY TALES OF THEIR MISUSE!
Spirit boards, Ouija Boards, talking boards, and Witchboards have seduced the masses for over a century, offering ordinary people a chance to make contact with the dead. This October, Robert Murch opens the crypt and unveils his curious collection of dusty antique spirit boards, taking you on a journey through their often shrouded history, and offering a glimpse into the many artistic visions that have marked this popular parlor game through the years.
Together, Murch and Salem Witch Christian Day show you how to properly use the board to make contact with the other side. Learn how to open the board, conjure the spirit, correctly interpret the messages that come through, and safely close the board. Participants will be chosen from the audience to demonstrate their skills with an antique Ouija board!
Christian will tell haunted tales of those who used spirit boards unwisely, achieving rather unwelcome results, and of those who used the game to further their own successes through supernatural guidance.
The evening includes a slide show and video presentation of spirit boards in print, music, and movies! Participants are invited to ask questions throughout the show.
