Grave Spirits: A Night of Necromancy
 

6pm – 10pm, Sunday, October 21, 2007 at the Hawthorne Hotel
Internationally known Salem Witch Christian Day will teach you to perform the ancient rites of Necromancy—the art of conjuring the shades of the dead that they may rise to do your bidding. The forbidden rituals of Necromancy grant us the magical power to summon the spirits of the grave to reveal the future and to influence events. Using bones, powders, and long-feared incantations, you will learn to whisper your desires into the fabric of reality.

 

The rituals of Necromancy are a part of magic that many fear to employ. Yet, it has always been the birthright of magical people to enlist the legions of the dead to lend their unearthly talents to our work. October is the time of year when the spirits traffic with the living and so we choose this time to reclaim our power as children of darkness and shadow. Enshroud yourself in black velvet and spidery veils as you share in the vast power of those who dwell in the lands of the dead.

  • Witness the tools of the Necromancer by which he conjures up the mighty dead.
  • Discover the importance of making pacts with the spirits.
  • Learn how to create an ancestral altar to the dead in your home.
  • Perform necromantic conjurations using graveyard dust, coffin nails, human skulls, and ancient spells.
  • Feast on Decadent Hors D'oeuvres
  • Enjoy spirits of a different kind at our cash bar.

The evening culiminates in a high ritual where Christian will summon the spirits that they may grant you the power to cross the bridge between the living and the dead, wielding your will between the worlds!
